Through The Lens

In this work, water becomes a lens and mirror at once, the shadows show us what’s beneath the surface while the highlights reflect what’s above. The delicate balance between what is seen through and what is reflected is what makes this series significant in my development as an artist. By incorporating natural elements I push the boundaries of what a camera can do. Water has allowed me to create with a natural element an image of itself.
