Mirage

Series 2013

I shot these photographs in medium and large format film. They were mostly shot at the Nevada desert. Mirage focuses on contrasts, colors and shadows to generate symmetrical structures from the landscape. The repetition is used to increase the complexity and remove us from the recognizable.
