This video depicts a landscape with mirrored elements that is inspired by nature’s use of repetition to generate complexity. Gray No. 33 is a landscape that defies gravity, movement and color. In it, floating particles move upwards creating an ever-changing march. The video is shot in black and white and processed to be seen as a negative. The representation of elements as negatives is something that I have been working on since 2011, as part of a photography series, titled Formed. This process allows me to invert the hierarchy of perception, therefore creating a unique experience for the audience.
